Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 51 event in Brazil the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
‘Fight Of The Night’ honors on this occasion were handed out to Gleison Tibau and Piotr Hallmann for their closely fought co-main event which lasted the full three rounds with Tibau emerging as the winner by split decision.
Main event underdog Andrei Arlovski earned a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus for his first round KO against Antonio Silva, proving there’s life in the old ‘Pitbull’ yet.
Finally, another ‘Performance Of The Night’ award was handed out to Godofredo Pepey who delivered an impressive first round armbar submission against Dashon Johnson in the preliminary portion of the card.
