Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 54 event in Canada the recipients of the evenings $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
Picking up ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors was a preliminary encounter in which late replacement Chad Kelades managed to earn a decision victory in his UFC debut against Patrick Holohan.
Main event winner Rory MacDonald secured a ‘Performance Of The Night’ award courtesy of a third round upperct that TKO’d Tarec Saffiedine, putting him in a strong position for a welterweight title shot.
Olivier Aubin-Mercier scooped up the other ‘Performance OF The Night’ bonus with an impressive inverted triangle choke submission complete with a shoulder lock for good measure which tapped out Jake Lindsey in the prelims.
