UFC Fight Night 70 Fight Card

UFC Fight Night 70’s fight card has been drastically altered due to an issue with travel Visa’s which led to several bouts being cancelled, so you can check out the newly condensed eight-fight line-up for this Sunday’s show below.

Thankfully the main event remains intact, and it’s a good one with the No.3 ranked Lyoto Machida going up against one of the division’s most in-form fighters, Yoel Romero who’s currently placed at No.6 after a five-fight winning streak.

The changes to the card start to come beneath that, with a welterweight fight between Lorenz Larkin and Santiago Ponzinibbio having now been bumped up to co-main event status.

TUF 19 winner Eddie Gordon faces his Brazilian counterpart Antonio Carlos Junior who emerged as the winner of TUF Brazil 3 last year.

Steve Bosse almost retired recently before even making his UFC debut, but he will get a chance to grace the Octagon against Thiago Santos on the main card.

And rounding off the main card Hacran Dias will look to build on a win over Darren Elkins last time out when he faces Levan Makashvili.

Main Card:

Lyoto Machida vs. Yoel Romero
Lorenz Larkin vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio
Eddie Gordon vs. Antonio Carlos Junior
Steve Bosse vs. Thiago “Marreta” Santos
Hacran Dias vs. Levan Makashvili

Prelims:

Joe Merritt vs. Alex Oliveira
Lewis Gonzalez vs. Leandro Silva
Steve Montgomery vs. Tony Sims
