Following tonight’s UFC Fight Night 83 event the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
Earning ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors was the preliminary woman’s bantamweight bout between Lauren Murphy and Kelly Faszholz. With just five seconds of the fight remaining Murphy was able to stop her opponent with strikes.
Main event star Donald Cerrone took home a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus for his first round triangle choke submission from on top against Alex Oliveira in his welterweight debut.
Also earning a ‘Performance Of The Night’ award was Chris Camozzi who took out Joe Riggs with a knee just 26 seconds into their main card encounter.
