UFC Fight Night 88 takes place this Sunday, May 29th with a card that has surprising strength in depth.
The main event features two of the best rising stars in the UFC’s bantamweight division, Thomas Almeida and Cody Garbrandt who are both unbeaten in their MMA career’s to date.
In the co-main event, former bantamweight champion Renan Barao make his debut in the featherweight division against the always tough Jeremy Stephens.
It’s not official yet, but unfortunately at the time of writing it seems as if Tarec Saffiedine may well be forced out of his fight with Rick Story due to an injury, with the UFC currently seeking a late replacement.
In middleweight action, Chris Camozzi takes back-to-back wins into a fight with Vitor Miranda, who’s unbeaten in his last three fights.
Rounding off the main card are two other worthy fights, with Jorge Masvidal seeking his first win at welterweight against Lorenz Larkin, while Josh Burkman and Paul felder will battle it out in the main card opener.
The preliminary card is also worth paying attention to here, with top 10 women’s bantamweight fighters Jessica Eye and Sara McMann fighting, along with the likes of Erik Koch Vs Shane Campbell and Bryan Caraway Vs Aljamain Sterling.
