Following last night’s UFC On FOX 13 event the recipients of the evenings $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
Earning ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors was the main event heavyweight fight between Junior dos Santos and Stipe Miocic which was for the most part a straight-up boxing match that ebbed and flowed over 25 hard fought minutes leaving both men looking like they’d been hit by a truck and JDS getting his hand raised courtesy of a unanimous decision on the scorecards.
Ian Entwistle fought at the opposite end of the card, but his swift 64 second heel hook submission against Anthony Birchak earned him a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus.
The other ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus was handed to Matt Mitrione who once again showcased his heavy hands as he floored Gabriel Gonzaga with a counter hook and then completed the first round TKO victory with hard shots on the ground.
