Following last night’s UFC On FOX 27 event the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
Earning ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors was a full-blooded slugfest between Drew Dober and Frank Camacho, who took turns to punch each other in the face for much of the fifteen minute fight.
Both showed excellent chins, but though Camacho also managed to land some brief trip takedowns during the fight, his cardio noticeable dipped as time went on, while Dober kept up a higher pace and volume of strikes, leading to his unanimous decision victory.
As you might expect, main event star Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza’s impressive head kick in the first-round against Derek Brunson that set a KO finish into motion ensured that he won himself a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus into the bargain.
Meanwhile, Mirsad Bektic also secured a well-earned ‘Performance Of The Night’ award after a thunderous body shot floored Godofredo Pepey inside of three minutes and left him unable to continue, handing him a highlight-reel TKO finish.
