Following last night’s UFC on FOX 28 event in Orlando, Florida the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.

Earning ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors was the preliminary card bout between Alan Jouban and Ben Saunders who traded blows back and forth up until the mid-way point of the second round when Jouban landed a leg kick that knocked his opponent off-balance and then punished him with a crushing left hand to the jaw that knocked him out.

Jeremy Stephens secured a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus thanks to his violent finish against Josh Emmett in the main event, which saw him first floor his opponent with a left hand and then land some nasty elbows, before dropping back in with two more to render Emmett unconscious in brutal fashion.

Ilir Latifi also scooped up a ‘Performance Of The Night’ award after initially putting Ovince Saint Preux in all sorts of trouble in the opening round with his heavy hands, and then following that up by sinking in a standing guillotine choke that sent OSP slumping to the canvas unconscious.
