Matt Brown continued his remarkable winning streak tonight at UFC On FOX Sports 1 with a first round KO stoppage against a tough veteran in Mike Pyle.
Brown starting this fight typically aggressively and it’s paying immediate dividends.
He unleashes a flurry of strikes in the opening minute, landing a right hand in the process that rocks Pyle then a knee follows that folds him to the canvas.
Brown not letting him off the hook as he lands more strikes to his grounded opponent and a few hard shots bounce Pyle’s head off the canvas and he’s out cold with only 29 seconds on the clock!
What a great story Brown’s late career resurgence is proving to be. At one stage he looked in danger of being cut from the UFC after just one win in five fights, but the UFC kept faith in him and it’s paid off as he’s now unbeaten in six fights and pushed his way into the top 10 at 170lbs.
