Roy Nelson made short work of Cheick Kongo tonight at UFC 159, knocking him out in the first round.
Kongo starts the fight with a kick that Nelson almost catches, then instead opts to push Kongo up against the cage.
Kongo lands a knee and tries to back Nelson up, but gets shoved back to the cage again. They work from the position for a short period before the referee breaks them.
Nelson looks to strike and lands a single overhand right that floors Kongo. Kongo tries to get back upright only to be met with another right hand that slumps him back to the mat and that secures the KO victory with just 2.03mins of the first round gone.
