Uriah Hall is out of his upcoming co-main event fight with Andre Muniz at UFC On ESPN 34 on April 16th in Las Vegas for undisclosed reasons.
This had been set to be Hall’s first fight since a decision loss to Sean Strickland in July of last year, which ended a four fight winning streak, during which he had beaten the likes of Bevon Lewis, Antonio Carlos Junior, Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman.
As for Muniz, he’s on a four fight winning streak of his own against Antonio Arroyo, Bartosz Fabinski, Ronaldo Souza and Eryk Anders.
Muniz now seeks a new opponent to stay on the card, but it’s been reported it won’t be Dricus Du Plessis who has turned down the matchup after already being briefly drafted in as a late replacement to fight Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 273 next weekend before his opponent then withdraw.
