Urijah Faber And Dominick Cruz Finally Bury The Hatchet During Post-Fight Interview

Urijah Faber retired last night after a convincing win over Brad Pickett, and afterwards he also burried the hatchet with his old rival Dominick Cruz.

During an interview on the post-fight show for UFC On FOX 22 the two stars shook hands and Cruz gave Faber a peace offering in the form of a signed poster of the poster from their first ever fight together in the WEC.

There’s more significance to that than it might first appear as that fight was the beginning of their career-long bad blood, with Cruz having signed his name over the top off Faber’s face on all the posters, which ‘The California Kid’ took as a sign of disrespect.

Last night however, Cruz attempted to right that wrong by handing Faber a version with his signature not taking up real-estate on his rivals face, and that seemed like a thoughtful way to end their feud.

That being said, the two couldn’t resist some last second jibes regarding ‘The Dominator’s’ upcoming fight with Faber’s team-mate Cody Garbrandt at UFC 207!
