Troubled MMA fighter ‘War Machine‘ is currently wanted by Las Vegas as the prime suspect in a serious assault involving three people that occurred on Friday morning.
One of the victims is alleged to be his girlfriend, high-profile porn star Christy Mack who was hospitalized as a result of the incident, while the other injured party has not yet been identified but is also believed to have received ‘severe’ but not life-threatening injuries.
War Machine is alleged to have been the third person involved in the altercation and despite the police’s attempts to track him down they have so far been unable to.
The last Twitter message from the fighter, posted on Friday, reads, “I can’t believe this…I must be cursed.”
War Machine has already served two separate jail sentences for assault, both lasting a year, and so if these new allegations against him are true then he could be facing a lengthy spell behind bars.
In the wake of the latest incident involving War Machine, Bellator have announced that they have cut him from their roster.
“We have a zero tolerance policy here at Bellator when it relates to any form of domestic violence, and after learning of this latest incident involving (Jon Koppenhaver) War Machine, Bellator is releasing him from his promotional contract with the organization,” Scott Coker told TMZ.
War Machine had made his Bellator debut in June of last year and had posted a 2-1 record to date, making it to the semi-finals of the season 9 welterweight tournament back in October.
In total he holds a 14-5 record and has also fought for promotions like the UFC, BAMMA and Tachi Palace Fights.
