Last week Dana White confirmed that UFC welterweight champion Georges St.Pierre is still on course to return in November at UFC 154 against Carlos Condit barring any unexpected problems with his recovery from knee surgery, and the latest video from the star’s training camp also indicates all is going well.
Though it’s less than a minute long it shows GSP kicking and kneeing the pads at the gym which suggests he’s now confident that his recovery has gone well. He’s spent over a year out of the Octagon though, and a torn ACL is a very serious injury so it’s still a gradual process and he’ll no doubt be grateful that he still has several months to work on his all-round fitness, sharpness and technique before mounting his next title defense.
