Watch Shane Carwin KO Jason Ellis While Fighting One-Armed

Radio host and extreme sports enthusiast Jason Ellis has tested himself in the ring against professional MMA fighters in the past, but he bit off way more than he could chew this weekend at ‘Ellismania 13’ when he went up against former UFC interim heavyweight champion Shane Carwin.

Ellis actually has one win under his belt as a professional MMA fighter dating back to 2009 and also holds two wins over former UFC fighter Gabe Reudiger.

That’s all well and good, but Shane Carwin is a destroyer of worlds – a man who’s fought as heavy as super-heavyweight during his 12-2 MMA career, has to wear 5XL gloves due to his oversized fists, and is known to be one of the hardest punchers the sport has ever seen.

With that in mind, Ellis tried to even things up a little by stipulating that for their boxing match Carwin would have one arm tied to his body.

Nevertheless, this still sounded like a death sentence for Ellis, and as you’ll see from the video below, things didn’t work out well for him at all, with Ellis being dropped once by a left hook earlier in the fight before getting knocked out cold when Carwin swatted him with the same punch a minute later.

The 41 year-old Carwin recently announced that he’s coming out of retirement to resume his MMA career, and while that won’t happen in the UFC, he’s sure to be snapped up by another leading MMA organization, striking fear into the hearts of the rest of their heavyweight roster.
