If you’ve ever wanted to watch a low budget, b-movie version of ‘Air Force One’ with Randy Couture in the starring role then your in luck because that seems to be the basic premise of his new flick, ‘Hijacked’.
Here’s the official blurb:
“Special Agent Ross’s (Couture) plans to reconcile with his ex-fiancé are ruined when she boards a private jet that is targeted by hijackers working for the same crime lord he is chasing. With no time to inform his team, Ross wriggles his way aboard the aircraft and risks it all to save the love of his life.”
Couture, who cut his teeth in the acting world via ‘Scorpion King: Rise Of The Warrior’ and ‘The Expendables’ takes the lead role opposite Vinnie Jones and Dominic Purcell of ‘Prison Break’ fame.
It’s nice to see the UFC hall-of-famer finding gameful employment after his illustrious career in the sport, but truth be told this looks like it has all the makings of being straight-to-DVD fodder.
