WSOF 30 Results

World Series Of Fighting 30 took place last night and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event of the evening David Branch successfully defended his middleweight title against Clifford Starks despite having been deducted a point in the second round due to an illegal knee.

It was a relatively close fight in those early rounds, with not a whole lot of action, but Branch began to gain the advantage in the later stages of the fight and his clinch work and takedowns helped him secure a unanimous decision victory (49-44 x3).

In the co-main event Jon Fitch finally fulfilled his dream of becoming a champion when he won the vacant welterweight title with a five round shutout against Joao Zeferino.

In classic Fitch fashion he adopted a grinding approach on the mat that gave Zeferino few opportunities to show what he could do, leading to a unanimous decision victory (50-45 x3).
