50 Cent Makes Khabib Nurmagomedov Offer, But Scott Coker Pours Cold Water On Idea

50 Cent has had dealings with Bellator at the moment, but he may have overstepped his mark when he made a generous offer to Khabib Nurmagomedov following his antics at UFC 229 last weekend.

“I think it’s wrong what the UFC is doing to Khabib, they didn’t do the same thing to McGregor,” 50 Cent wrote on Instagram. “I’ll pay $2m in cash tonight if he will fight for me at Bellator.

“I’ll deal with Dana and your contract later. The UFC is not the only game in town. Zubaira is welcome also. #bellator #lecheminduroi.”

Khabib soon replied and didn’t shut down the suggestion, instead stating in trademark fashion, “Just send me location.”

However, when asked about 50 Cent’s claims at the weekend following two Bellator shows in two days, Scott Coker didn’t seem overly enthusiastic about the idea.

“He called me yesterday and he said, ‘Hey, what’s going on with this?’ Coker stated at the Bellator 208 post-fight press conference. “I said, ‘Well, the commission’s involved. There’s a lot of steps to that whole situation.’

“I’d like to just – I told him, ‘Hey, let’s just stay clear of it because that has nothing to do with Bellator, it has to do with the commission and the fighter and the league.’ So that’s their business.”

Coker went on to make it clear that 50 Cent doesn’t speak for his promotion.

“I think what he means by that is like him as a manager. 50 Cent, when he’s talking to an athlete, that has nothing to do with Bellator. I can’t tell 50 Cent what to say or not say, believe me.”
