A heavyweight fight between Andrei Arlovsi and Marcos Rogerio de Lima will take place at UFC Fight Night 213 on October 29th at a destination still to be confirmed.
At 43-years-old, not only is Arlovski continuing to compete on a regular basis, but he’s actually in the midst of a four-fight winning streak in the space of a little over a year.
It’s a run that began with unanimous decision victories over Chase Sherman and Carlos Felipe, while he’s since clocked up split decision wins over Jared Vanderaa and most recently Jake Collier.
That’s not been enough to earn him a spot on the heavyweight rankings however, and he’ll be facing another unranked opponent next in the shape of Marcos Rogerio de Lima, who is coming in off a unanimous decision to Blagoy Ivanov back in May.
However, before that the 37-year-old de Lima had picked a decision win over Maurice Greene followed by a 32 second TKO finish against Ben Rothwell.
Arlovski vs. De Lima joins a UFC Fight Night 213 card that only has one other bout attached to it so far, a featherweight clash between Edson Barboza and Ilia Topuira.
