Arman Tsarukyan made a huge statement tonight in the main event of UFC On ESPN 52 by swiftly knocking out Beneil Dariush.

The lightweight main event is underway in Austin, Texas!
Good high kick to start from Dariush and then a leg kick. Dariush wades forward and unleashes an overhand left. Dariush pumps out the jab. He misses on another overhand.
Suddenly a partially landed knee to the head from Tsarukyan and then while his leg is still in the air he somehow follows up with a powerful right hand that floors Dariush for a stunning knockout victory at just 64 seconds of the opening round!!
That’s just the kind of big finish against a respected high-ranked fighter Tsarukyan needed to propel himself into the lightweight top-5 and mark himself out as a potential title contender in 2024.
