Arnold Allen will be on home soil for his next fight when he takes on Dan Hooker at UFC Fight Night 204 in London, England on March 19th.
The UK Fighter has so far gone unbeaten in his eight-fight UFC run to date, taking him to No.7 on the featherweight rankings.
Along the way he’s beaten the likes of Makwan Amirkhani, Gilbert Melendez, Nik Lentz and most recently Sodiq Yusuff, extending the 28-year-old’s overall MMA record to 17-1.
Now he’ll go up against Hooker, who has opted to drop down to the featherweight division after his recent submission loss to Islam Makhachev, which marked his third loss in his last four fights at lightweight, having also come up second-best against recent title contenders Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler.
Hooker is still ranked No.8 in the division however, having beaten notable names like Paul Felder, Al Iaquinta, Gilbert Burns, Jim Miller and James Vick in the past.
nevertheless, now he’ll go back down to featherweight, which is a division he’s no stranger too, having posted a 3-3 record there at the start of his time in the UFC.
Allen vs. Hooker joins a UFC Fight Night 204 card that’s set to be headlined by heavyweight action as Tom Aspinall goes up against Alexander Volkov.
