Bellator 200 Results

Bellator 200 took place last night and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event of the evening, Gegard Mousasi became Bellator’s new middleweight champion after TKO’ing Rafael Carvalho in the first round.

Mousasi showed his skill and experience as he took Carvalho down, easily moved to mount and then finished Carvalho off with ground and pound strikes to win the title just 3.35mins into the opening round, before going on to call-out welterweight champion Rory MacDonald afterwards.

Earlier, in the co-main event Michael ‘Venom’ Page improved his unbeaten record to 13-0 by dominating David Rickels.

Page was able to outclass Rickels on the feet in the opening round with his unique brand of striking, opening up a cut on his opponent’s face and flooring him.

Then in the second round a powerful right hook opened a nasty gash above Rickels right eye and almost immediately ‘Caveman’ began waving off the fight, just as ‘Venom’ was in the process of taunting him.

Earlier, former ‘Geordie Shore’ reality TV star Aaron Chalmers improve his MMA record to 4-0 with a swift guillotine choke submission win over Ash Griffin’s whose own record dropped to 4-6.

Earlier, Anastasia Yankova’s unbeaten record came to end after Kate Jackson registered a convincing unanimous decision victory (30-26 x2, 29-27).

The main card opener saw Phil Davis emerge victorious against Linton Vassell, getting the better of the action in the opening 10 minutes, before putting his opponent away with a headkick 65 seconds into the final round.
