In the main event of the evening, Ryan Bader avenged an old loss to Lyoto Machida from their time in the UFC.
In the opening round Machida was having some success landing kicks to the leg and body, but in the second Bader utilized his wrestling to control the action on the mat and that would continue to be the story of the fight in the rounds that followed, leading to a unanimous decision victory (49-46, 49-45 x2).
The co-main event saw another former UFC fighter Liz Carmouche going up against long-time Invicta FC competitor Vanessa Porto, and it was Carmouche who got the better of the action with striking from range and clinch work to get the unanimous decision nod (30-27 x2, 29-28).
Earlier, Cat Zingano picked up her second Bellator win with a first round armbar submission against Olivia Parker after quickly bringing her to the mat.
