Bellator 271 Results

Bellator 271 took place last night and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event, featherweight champion Cris Cyborg wasted little time in ending Sinead Kavanagh’s night, flooring her with a powerful right hand early in the fight and then sealing the KO with thunderous hammerfists at the 92 second mark of the opening round.

Two-time PFL tournament winner Kayla Harrison was in attendance as she explores her free-agent options, leading to speculation that she could be a future opponent for Cyborg.

Meanwhile, Linton Vassell defeated Tyrell Fortune by split decision in the co-main event after he did solid work to counter his opponent’s wrestling on the mat, repeatedly finding ways to get  on top and control the action to ensure he’d get his hand raised.

Also picking up a notable win on the night was Aaron Pico, who went to the scorecards for the first time in his career as he made good use of his wrestling to pick up a convincing unanimous decision victory for his efforts (30-27 x2, 30-26).
