Bellator 282 took place last night and we’ve got all the results for you below.
There was a big upset in the main event, with Gegard Mousasi’s middleweight title reign coming to an end after the underdog Johnny Eblen convincingly defeated him by unanimous decision.
Eblen had come into the fight with a perfect 12-0 record, including eight wins in the Bellator promotion, but on paper this was clearly a huge step-up in competition.
That wasn’t the case at all on the night though as Eblen actually dropped Mousasi in the opening round with a powerful blow that would have finished lesser men, then bossed both the ground game and striking exchanges in the rounds that followed to claim a major victory and win the middleweight belt.
