Brock Lesnar’s Manager Claims UFC Talk Is Not Just A Bluff

Brock Lesnar is coming to the end of his current deal with the WWE and there’s been a lot of rumors and speculation that he might now be looking to return to the UFC.

However, we’ve heard heard all this before as the same thing happened the last time his contract was expiring, with Lesnar looking on the verge of putting pen to paper, before changing his mind and re-signing with the WWE at the last minute.

As such, there’s a lot of suspicion that the same thing might be happening all over again, but his manager Paul Heymon insists that’s not the case.

“I don’t think it’s any secret that Brock is looking to get back into the Octagon,” Heyman told newsweek. “He is obviously eyeballing another fight in UFC. There’s no secret. He’s posing for pictures with Dana White wearing a UFC shirt in the UFC offices in Las Vegas. That’s not a negotiating tactic, Brock Lesnar wants to compete inside of the octagon. There’s no leveraging that; it’s a fact.”

Dana White has also indicated several times already this year that he believes Lesnar will be back in the Octagon later this year, but at this stage Heyman claims there is no exact time frame for when it may happen.

“I don’t know, and I don’t even know if the timetable has been discussed,”
Heyman said. “The question posed is, ‘are you willing to get into the octagon?’ and fight. And I would suggest Brock’s answer to that is, ‘yes, I am.’ Now, when will it take place, against who and where? These are just details. The big question has always been ‘are you willing to do this?’
