Chidi Njokuani KO’s Dusko Todorovic With Elbow In 1st Round

Chidi Njokuani continued his impressive start to life in the UFC with a first round KO win over Dusko Todorovic tonight courtesy of a powerful elbow strike.

Round One:

Head kick attempt from Todorovic to start. leg kick from Njokuani. He chips away at that several times. Todorovic in on a takedown attempt but as he’s going or it Njokuani is able to stuff it and threatens with a guillotine choke.

Njokuani working on a d’arce choke now, but Todorovic stays patient and finds his way free and gets on top again.

Todorovic gradually working around to Njokuani’s back here close to the cage. Njokuani able to stand, but still wearing Todorovic attached to his back for now.

Todorovic drags him back down for a split second and then back up. Todorovic would like to get him down again, but unable to do so for now and Njokuani turns into him, but still being pressed up against the cage.

Knee for Todorovic and one in return from Njokuani. Todorovic back down working on a takedown attempt, but Njokuani defends and then lands a knee upstairs on the way out that grazes the target.

Njokuani with a few knees to the body and then gets around to Todorovic’s back. Todorovic turns into him and Njokuani lands a knee and then from the clinch blasts him with a huge elbow that floors him, and that’s it, another first round highlight-reel KO win for Njokuani at the 4.48min mark!
