Conor McGregor Claims He Had Stress Fractures On Leg Before UFC 264

Conor McGregor has claimed that he actually had stress fractures on his shin prior to his ill-fated trilogy clash with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, which resulted in his leg breaking late in the first round of the fight.

“I was injured going into the fight,” McGregor said on Instagram.

“People are asking me, ‘When was the leg broke? At what point did the leg break?’ Ask Dana White. Ask the UFC. Ask Dr (Jeff) Davidson, the head doctor of the UFC. They knew I had stress fractures in my leg going into that cage.

“It was debated about pulling the thing out because I was sparring without shin pads and I would kick the knee a few times.

Some have doubted McGregor’s claims, but he’s since doubled down, posting photos and claiming that there will be a Netflix documentary that will document everything that went on behind the scenes.

“All you pull out merchants wouldn’t last 13 seconds in my world. My 4 part Netflix docuseries coming soon has the entire bts.

“All you pull out merchants wouldn’t last 13 seconds in my world. My 4 part Netflix docuseries coming soon has the entire bts.  I’m gonna title it “Mad Mac’s: Fury Road”
“Wouldn’t change my journey for no ones! The greatest of all time!.”
