Dana White has revealed some new UFC-related TV shows are in the works, including a behind-the-scenes documentary and an Adam Sandler comedy based around the promotion.
At this stage information on the show with movies star Sandler is thin on the ground, with White only stating that it’s, “a comedy about working in the offices of the UFC,” though the suggestion is that it will be a scripted show that may turn into a sitcom.
This wouldn’t be the first time that Sandler has had a hand in a UFC-related production as his production company Happy Madison also produced the 2012 MMA film ‘Here Comes The Boom’ starring Kevin James.
Meanwhile, White was a little more forthcoming about the documentary, which will be broadcast on Roku and will give fans a look behind-the-scenes at how the UFC operates.
“It’s not easy to just whip out a documentary and do it,” White said on The Pat McAfee Show. “But we’re doing a deal right now with Roku where we’re filming a documentary behind the scenes of the UFC, that will come out later this year. [It’s about] the whole business. You guys will see all the behind the scenes.”
