Dana White Tuesday Night Contenders Week 2 Results

The second week of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders series aired on UFC Fight Pass last night and you can check out all the results below.

There was only one UFC contract up for grabs last night, and it was 22-year-old bantamweight Sean O’Malley who made the biggest impact on the night to ensure his spot on the roster.

O’Malley engaged in an exciting back-and-forth striking battle with Alfred Khashakyan in the opening round, and with both men looking for the finish it was O’Malley who struck gold, rocking his opponent with a right hand, then following up with a head kick and finally dropping him with another right for the KO finish.

The main event fight between Daniel Spohn and Angela DeAnda also delivered on the entertainment front.

DeAnda hurt Spohn early in the fight, but was the deducted a point after landing repeated blows to the back of his opponent head.

Quickly bouncing back from those illegal strikes, Spohn was then able to stun DeAnda and then wrapped up an arm triangle finish on the mat at the 3.10min mark of the opening round.
