The 2nd episode of Dana White’s Contender Series 7 took place last night and you can see all the results below as all five winners earned a UFC contract.

In the main event Abdul-Kareen Al-Selwady earned his UFC deal after a competitive striking battle against George Hardwick in which he was able to land the more damaging blows to secure a clean sweep on the scorecards (30-27 x3).

Ibo Aslan swiftly booked his place in the UFC when he TKO’d Paulo Renato Jr mid-way through the opening round after initially rocking him with a right hook and then continuing to unleash more hooks as his opponent slumped to the cage.

There were scrambles aplenty in a fight that saw Hyder Amil demonstrate more commitment to offense in order to claim a unanimous decision victory over Emrah Somnez (29-28 x3).

The evening opened up with two 1st round finishes, with Charlalampos Grigoriou taking just 60 seconds to TKO Cameron Smotherman after sitting him down with a right hand and following up with ground-and-pound on the canvas, while Eduarda Moura outgrappled Janaina Silva before sinking in a rear-naked choke.
