Daniel Hooker KO’s Ross Pearson With Brutal Knee At UFC Fight Night 110

This was a competitive fight at UFC Fight Night 110, right up until mid-way through the second round when Daniel Hooker unleashed a perfectly timed knee to the jawline that brutally knocked out Ross Pearson.

Round One:

Pearson with a leg kick. Kick in return from Hooker. Nice right hand for Pearson. The Uk fighter moves in and lands an uppercut.

Leg kick for Hooker and Pearson almost counters with a head kick. Chopping kick to the thigh from Hooker. Now another one and a jab behind it.

Pearson ducks in and grabs a single-leg, but then lets it go. Kick from Hooker and a punch in return from Pearson. Leg kick for the Brit.

Leg kick and one to the body from Hooker. Back to the leg kick he goes and this time gets caught with a right-hand counter.

A leg-kick apiece is exchanged. Now Hooker goes upstairs with the kick, but Pearson blocks it. Teep kick for Pearson. Head kick again from Hooker and that almost got through his opponent’s guard.

Into the clinch for Pearson and he lands a few shots in close before they break. Hooker swoops in for a takedown, but Pearson does well to stuff it.

High-tempo from both fighters so far. Pearson steps hard into a leg kick. Now one lands for Hooker that spins Pearson around. Nice head movement from Pearson to avoid a punch.

Round Two:

Pearson targeting the body with punches now. Hooker back to the leg kicks. Solid left hand for Pearson. Hooker continuing to target that lead leg, then tries for a head kick, but Pearson sees it coming.

Hooker pumping out the jab to dictate range as Pearson lands a leg kick. nice one-two from Pearson. Now he lands a left hand.

Hooker till trying to work the jab, but Pearson avoids and lands a nice left hand. Again he does the same thing and Hooker’s nose is bleeding.

leg kick for Pearson. Right hand for Hooker. Both men finding the target here. Left hook for Pearson, but Hooker counters with a huge knee upstairs that sends Pearson’s mouth guard flying across the Octagon as he collapses to the canvas, and that’s it, the fight is over! What a nasty knockout that was!
