Francis Ngannou Calls Out Brock Lesnar And Derrick Lewis

After an unsuccessful bid to claim the heavyweight title, Francis Ngannou is now ready to return to action and has targeted two fighters in particular that could serve as his next opponent.

Truth be told though, it seems like its one superstar in particular that he seems to have his heart set on welcoming back to the Octagon – Brock Lesnar.

“Please Brock, come back, come back my friend. We need you here,” Ngannou said on The MMA Hour show. “We need you to put the fun in this division. I need you to give me that f*cking fight I’ve been waiting for for a long time, I’ve been dreaming for.”

However, it appears that Ngannou has also heard that ‘The Black Beast’ Derrick Lewis has been taking some pot shots at him, and he’s more than willing to meet him in the Octagon too.

“Derrick has been talking some of his sh*t while I was off,” Ngannou wrote on Twitter. “Can someone please let him know that I’m here now, so if he really wants me, he should send his manager to deal with @ufc.”

With all that being said, other fighters appear to have their eye on Ngannou too, with Mark Hunt having recently thrown his hat into the ring.

“We’re looking to see if I can get Ngannou for August in Hawaii – that’d be great,” Hunt told Sporting News.

For the record, Ngannou has welcomed Hunt’s interest, but at the same time has indicated it’s not his first choice.

“It’s up to what (the UFC) want to give me,” Ngannou said. “There are a lot of people out there who want to fight me. I saw Mark Hunt, he would be a great one. By myself, I want Brock. Brock Lesnar.”
