Francis Ngannou Vs Stefan Struve Targeted For UFC Fight Night 109

A heavyweight bout between Francis Ngannou and Stefan Struve is reportedly in the works for UFC Fight Night 109 in Stockholm, Sweden on May 28th.

Ngannou has established himself as one of the heavyweight division’s most exciting new talents in several years after a five-fight winning streak so far in the UFC, defeating Luis Henrique, Curtis Blayde, Bojan Mihajlovic, Anthony Hamilton and most recently Andrei Arlovski.

All of The 30-year-old Predator’s wins inside the Octagon so far have come inside the distance, leaving him ranked No.6 in the division and set to make further strides up the ladder towards title contention if he can get past the ‘Skyscraper.’

For his part, the 29-year-old Struve is coming off back-to-back wins over Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva and Daniel OmielaƄczuk in 2016 and the Dutchman will surely see this as a good opportunity to derail Ngannou’s hype train and get himself back into the heavyweight division top 10.

Ngannou Vs Struve hasn’t been officially announced yet by the promotion, but if and when it does it’ll likely serve as the co-main event for the show, which will be headlined by Sweden’s own Alexander Gustafsson and Glover Teixeira, while Chris Camozzi Vs Magnus Cedenblad has also been confirmed.
