A featherweight fight between Frankie Edgar and ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung looks set to be a worthy headliner for the UFC’s official 25th anniversary show, aka UFC Fight night 139 in Denver, Colorado on November 10th.

Edgar comes into this fight off the back of a unanimous decision victory over Cub Swanson back in April.

That got the former lightweight champion back to winning ways after having suffered a tough knockout loss to Brian Ortega just a month earlier at UFC 222.

Prior to that ‘The Answer’ had been in good form, racking up back-to-back wins over Jeremy Stephens and Yair Rodrigue, all of which leaves him ranked No.3 in the 145lb division heading into this fight.

Meanwhile, ‘The Korean Zombie’ only has one fight under his belt in the last five years, albeit an impressive one, KO’ing Dennis Bermudez in the first round last year.

Inbetween times, Jung has served compulsary military service in his native South Korea, and after making his comeback against Bermudez in style he then suffered a knee injury that’s kept him out of action until now.

Edgar Vs The Korean Zombie main events a 25th anniversary show that will also feature a welterweight scrap between Donald Cerrone and Mike Perry.
