Furious Sijara Eubanks Rips Into UFC For Cancelling Her Flyweight Title Shot

Sijara Eubanks has come out swinging after her flyweight title fight opportunity against Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 230 was scrapped yesterday.

The former TUF finalist was brought in as a surprise replacement to headline against Shevchenko at UFC 230 in Nocember recently after former strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk turned down the opportunity since she needed more time to prepare for the fight.

The fight was met with a less than enthusiastic response from fans and even UFC color commentator Joe Rogan admitted on his podcast that he didn’t know who she was when he first heard about the match-up.

However, since then the UFC have decided to change up their plans, instead going with their original plan to have Schevchenko fight Jedrzejczyk a month later at UFC 131, while heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier now fights Derrick Lewis in UFC 130’s main event.

That reshuffle leaves Eubanks out in the cold and upon hearing the news she proceeded to rip into the UFC for their decision.

“Buncha f—kin cowards!! You pull me from this thing and you’ll regret it!” Eubanks wrote on Dana White and matchmaker Mick Maynard in a since deleted tweet.

Not stopping there, Eubanks continued to vent in a series of other posts.

“Put me under card. Put me co main. I don’t care. But put me in for the Flyweight title shot! @danawhite @Mickmaynard2 IVE EARNED MY SHOT. THIS IS MY TIME. Quit running this thing like a circus.

“This is my life you’re playing with!”

Eubanks then turned her attention to Shevchenko.

“@BulletValentina Me and you muthaf*cka we gonna fight. @joannamma stay ya ass on vacation you not ready for the big dogs. I want my fuckin belt yo.”
