Germaine de Randamie Vs Aspen Ladd To Headline UFC Fight Night 155

A fight between Germaine de Randamie and Aspen Ladd has been targeted as the main event for UFC Fight Night 155 in Sacremento, California on July 13th.

De Randamie won the UFC’s featherweight title with a decision victory over Holly Holm back in 2017, but subsequently was stripped of the title after refusing to fight Cris ‘Cyborg.’

Since then ‘The Iron Lady’ has only fought once, dropping back down to bantamweight to beat Raquel Pennington by unanimous decision.

In total the 35-year-old is now on a four-fight winning streak and as such currently holds the No.1 contender spot in the bantamweight division heading into this fight.

Standing opposite her will be the undefeated Ladd, who at 24-years-of-age has so far compiled an 8-0 record, including three victories in a row since joining the UFC in 2017.

That run began with a TKO finish against Lina Lansberg, before also TKO’ing Tonya Evinger and then winning on the scorecards against Sijara Eubanks last time out, leaving her ranked No.4 in the division.

De Randamie Vs Ladd joins a UFC Fight Night 155 card that will also feature the return of ‘The California Kid’ Urijah Faber from retirement against Ricky Simon, while Josh Emmett fights Mirsad Bektic and Cynthia Calvillo goes up against Liva Renato Souza.
