Former NFL badboy turned MMA fighter Greg Hardy’s next fight will come agaist Juan Adams at UFC On ESP4 in Texas on July 20th.
Hardy’s UFC career got off to a bad start earlier this year when his 3-0 undefeated record came to an end by way of an illegal knee strike landed against Allen Crowder at UFC On ESPN 1.
Given that Hardy already had a toxic reputation due to prior allegations of domestic abuse during his time in the NFL, that fight did little to enhance the controversial fighter’s reputation.
However, the UFC gave him another chance to prove himself and he got back to winning ways with a first round TKO victory against Dmitry Smoliakov at UFC Fight Night 150 last month.
Now he’ll be fighting a former product of Dana White’s Contender Series in Adams, who got his UFC career off to a winning start with a TKO finish against Chris de la Rocha last year, but has since picked up a decision loss to Arjan Sing Bhullar to take his career record to 5-1.
Hardy Vs Adams joins a UFC On ESPN 4 card that’s currently set to be headlined by another heavyweight fight between Walt Harris and Alexey Oleinik.
