Greg Hardy will fight again before the end of 2020 against Marcin Tybura at UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Chimaev on December 19th in Las Vegas.
Hardy is coming off back-to-back wins in the year to date, starting with a decision win over Yorgan de Castro in May and more recently a second round TKO stoppage victory against Maurice Greene.
Now he’ll take his biggest step up in competition since he lost out by unanimous decision to Alexander Volkov back in November of last year.
In Tybura he’s facing a vastly more experienced opponent who is currently on a three-fight winning streak, having picked up a trio of decision victories in 2020 so far against Sergey Spivak, Maxim Grisham and most recently Ben Rothwell last month.
Like Hardy, Tybura is currently unranked in the heavyweight division, so this is an important fight for both men to try to fight there way to a top 15 spot.
Hardy vs. Tybura joins an event that’s set to be headlined by a welterweight showdown between Leon Edwards and Khamzat Chimaev, while Stephen Thompson fights Geoff Neal, Jose Aldo goes up against Marlon vera and Marlon Moraes takes on Rob Font as the UFC brings the curtain down on it’s 2020 campaign.
