Ben Saunders slayed Jake Ellenberger tonight at UFC Fight Night 131, with a big knee to the body in the opening round delivering the TKO finish.
Round One:
Saunders with a body kick to start. He fires up a head kick that’s blocked. Ellenberger springing forward and has to block another head kick as he does so.
Saunders tries for a kick and Ellenberger catches it and then lands a big punch. Ellenberger clinches up against the cage and Saunders tries for the thai clinch in response.
Saunders with a knee. He lands to the body and then another knee upstairs. Good work from Saunders. They jockey for position and Ellenberger lands some big uppercuts, but then gets caught by a knee to the liver and it sends him to the mat in pain.
Saunders looks for ground and pound, but Ellenberger is already done, that body shot took the fight out of him and so ‘Killa B’ secures himself a TKO victory just 1.56mins into the fight.
