Jeremy Stephens will soon be back in action against Josh Emmett in the main event of UFC On FOX 28 on February 24th in Orlando, Florida.
Stephens is only just coming off a second round TKO stoppage of Doo Ho Choi in the main event of UFC Fight Night 124, giving him just over a month to get ready for another battle in the Octagon.
That was Stephens second win in a row, having previously got the better of Gilbert Melendez on the scorecards last year, and leaves him ranked No.8 in the featherweight division.
Meanwhile, Emmett put himself on the map in his last fight when he KO’d one of the division’s leading contenders Ricardo Lamas in the first round at UFC On FOX 26.
Emmett is now 4-1 in the UFC and with an overall 13-1 record he’s climbed up as high as No.4 in the division, giving him a real chance to put himself into title contention in 2018.
Stephens Vs Emmett tops at UFC On FOX 28 fight card that will also feature the likes of a rescheduled co-main event between Ovince Saint Preux and Ilir Latifi, Jessica Andrade Vs Tecia Torres, Renan Barao Vs Brian Kelleher and Alan Jouban Vs Ben Saunders.
