Jim Miller’s next fight will be against Damon Jackson at UFC 309 in New York City on November 16th.
Veteran campaigner Miller achieved a new milestone in his last fight when he became the only fighter to have fought at UFC 100, UFC 200 and UFC 300.
Alas, despite having won his other two fights at those marquee events in the past, the 41-year-old Miller had a tough night at the office at UFC 300, suffering a one-sided unanimous decision loss to Bobby Green.
Nevertheless, Miller will take comfort in the fact that his late career form has generally been surprisingly good, having won five of his six fights prior to that night, with the icing on the cake being they all cake inside the distance by either strikes or submission.
Now Miller will go up against the 36-year-old Jackson, who has not been fairing so well of late, having lost three of his last four fights.
That includes a KO loss to Dan Ige and unanimous decision defeats against Billy Quarantillo and Chepe Mariscal, but he did earn a split-decision win over Alexander Hernandez back in April.
Miller vs. Jackson joins a UFC 309 card that will be headlined by a heavyweight title clash between current champion Jon Jones and former kingpin Stipe Miocic, while Charles Oliveira fights Michael Chandler in the co-main event.
