Abdul Razak Alhassan vs. Joaquin Buckley Set For UFC Fight Night 200

A battle of hard-hitting strikers, Abdul Razak Alhassan and Joaquin Buckley has been set for UFC Fight Night 200 on January 15th next year.

Alhassan suffered three losses in a row not so long ago against Mouir Lazzez, Khaos Williams and jacob Malkoun, but ‘Razor’ has since got back in the win column in style with a 17 second head kick KO of Alessio Di Chirico back in August.

That maintains Alhassan’s record of having finished every single one of his 11 career victories to date by way of strikes inside the first round.

Of course Buckley is no stranger to highlight-reel finishes either as he went viral last year when he KO’d Impa Kasanganay with a spinning back kick, and he followed that up by KO’ing Jordan Wright just over a month later>

However, Buckley hasn’t had it all his own way in the Octagon, having been TKO’d by Kevin Holland in his promotional debut, while back in January of this year he was KO’d by Alessio Di Chirico.

Buckley served up a reminder of his stopping power back in September however when he KO’d Antonio Arroyo, taking his overall UFC record to 3-2 so far.

Alhassan vs. Buckley joins a year-opening UFC Fight Night 200 event that is expected to be headlined by a featherweight fight between Calvin Kattar and Giga Chikadze.
