Jorge Masvidal went into the record books in sensational fasion tonight at UFC 239 with a five second flying knee knockout against Ben Askren.
Round One:
From the opening bell Masvidal just charges straight at Askren with a huge flying knee and knocks him out cold with two more punches landing afterwards.
Wow, that’s incredible, Askren is completely out for the count.
Masvidal had bad blood with Askren all week long and he slams the mat next to Askren afterwards to taunt his rival and then later drops down to the canvas and mocks his still unconscious pose.
It also turns out that this spectacular higlight finish is also the fastest knockout in UFC history at 5 seconds!
Askren takes a long time to wake up after that brutal blow and eventually is able to groggily get to his feet and walk out the Octagon.
