Kevin Lee Suffers ACL Tear While Recovering From Same Injury On Other Leg

The Injury-jinxed Kevin Lee has revealed that he’s suffered an ACL tear while recovering from the exact same injury on his other leg.

Lee hasn’t had much luck this year, starting with suffering a submission loss to Charles Oliveira back in March.

He was then expected to undergo surgery following his first ACL tear, but it was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It was already going to take around six months to recover from the injury, so any delay at that stage was far from ideal, but though he has since had the surgery, he’s gone on to tear his other ACL while recovering, which is going to keep him out of action for another extended period of time.

“I hurt it while trying to recover from this one,” Lee said on Instagram after undergoing surgery on the second injury. “But honestly, I’m not that discouraged about it. I feel like I’ve been on this path for a long-ass time, like last 10 years, and I’ve seen a lot of this sh*t happening. I didn’t know I was going to have it, but I knew for sure it was going to happen. I guess God wants me to have two strong knees, so when I come back, I’m going to f*ck somebody up.”
