Latest Floyd Mayweather Video In The Cage Suggests It’s Not What It Seems

Floyd Mayweather has been the talk of the combat sports world over the past few days after he posted a video on social media showing him stepping into the cage, setting off speculation that he is going to back up his words with action and fight Conor McGregor in a mixed martial arts bout in 2018.

However, given that this would be something of a death-wish for the undefeated 50-0 boxing superstar, some have taken the video with a pinch of salt, and now a follow-up video has been posted which does suggest that all is not what it seems when it comes to Mayweather’s reasons for doing this.

Given that the camera also starts focused in on Mayweather’s shorts, which happen to be sponsored by the Irish betting site Paddy Power, it’s not hard to see that what’s really happening here is a viral marketing campaign for their website, cleverly using fans continued interest in the rivalry between the two fighters to generate publicity.
