A heavyweight encounter between Mark Hunt and Marcin Tybura will headline UFC Fight Night 121 in Sydney, Australia on November 19th.
The 43-year-old Hunt heads into the fight after having claimed a fourth round TKO victory against Derrick Lewis last time out at UFC Fight Night 110 back in June, which ended ‘The Black Beast’s’ six-fight unbeaten run.
That got ‘The Super Samoan’ back on track after suffering a KO loss to Alistair Overeem earlier in the year, and leaves him placed at No.6 on the heavyweight rankings.
As for the 31-year-old Polish fighter Tybura, he is currently riding a three-fight winning streak that began with a head kick KO victory over Viktor Pesta, followed by a TKO win against Luis Henrique.
However, the biggest win of his career undoubtedly came last time out when he earned a unanimous decision victory over Andrei Arlovski back in June, which led to him securing the No.10 spot in the official heavyweight rankings and paving the way for this fight with another big-name in the division.
So far Hunt Vs Tybura is the only major fight announced for the Sydney card, which will be the only UFC event in Australia this year, though Hunt did get the chance to fight in his hometown of Auckland in neighboring New Zealand back in June.
