Mark Hunt Wants One Last UFC Fight In Australia

Mark Hunt suffered a first round rear-naked choke loss against Aleksei Oleinik last night at UFC Fight Night 136 in Moscow, Russia and now he’s looking for one last fight in the UFC before riding off into the sunset.

“I love working for the UFC, but we have issues,” Hunt said after last night’s event. “I’ve got one more fight left, and I’m trying to get on the Adelaide card with Tai (Tuivasa) and the boys. One last hurrah for the old guy.”

That event will take place at UFC Fight Night 142 on December 1st, so there’s still plenty of time left to book a fight, and it certainly makes sense to put the New Zealander on that card.

Despite now being 44-years-old, Hunt doesn’t intend to hang up his gloves once his UFC contract ends though as he’s previously indicated that he intends to move onto pastures new as a free agent, with a number of other major promotions no-doubt eagerly awaiting the chance to snap up the popular heavyweight when he becomes available.
