Max Griffin demolished Song Kenan in the first round tonight at UFC On ESPN 21 with a two-piece combo that knocked him out cold.
Round One:
Griffin starts out quickly with punches to the body and head. Kenan now strikes back. Griffin connects again. Hard jab lands for Kenan.
More body blows from Griffin and then lands a punch to the head and works into a takedown attempt against the cage. Kenan defending for now and then spins out of danger.
Kicks from Kenan. Body punch from Griffin. Inside leg kick for Griffin. He lands a hard calf kick that leaves Kenan limping just a moment.
Overhand right from Kenan and then a kick. Griffin coming forward and Kenan lands a solid front kick to the body.
Piston-like right hand from Griffin hurts Kenan and sends him staggering backwards. Griffin pursues and lands a left hand and then a right hook that knocks him out, with a final blow on the mat unfortunately landing to the back of the head.
