Mayweather Vs McGregor Hype Video Featuring The Killers

The Killers star in a new hype video for next weekend’s Floyd Mayweather Vs Conor McGregor fight in which they are seen performing their hit song ‘The Man’ alongside footage of the two fighters.

The song was originally written about Las Vegas, and so with the Mayweather Vs McGregor being the hottest ticket in town right now, lead singer Brandon Flowers says it made sense to get involved.

“I think there’s a symbiotic relationship between using a song like ours and Las Vegas and a boxing arena. Business of boxing. It seemed to make sense,”
Flowers said. “Oh, you want to use our song? We want to be in a ring too. You know what I mean… and I just wanted an excuse to wear this suit again. Really the main reason.”

Flowers may be helping to get people excited for next Saturday’s fight with this new video shoot, but it sounds like he’s hyped up for the historic showdown himself.

“It sounds like an exciting movie in the 80s. It sounds like some movie, good premise. It’s exciting. It is surreal.”
